About the Role:

Viking Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, removing litter and garbage, and maintaining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and weeding.
  • Remove litter and garbage from the work site.
  • Apply fertilizers and other chemicals as needed.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including lawn mowers and trimmers.
  • Write daily progress reports to keep management informed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including lawn mowers and trimmers.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Repetitive tasks, including manual labour and physical activity.
  • Physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical activity.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
