We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Internal Controls Specialist to join our Internal Audit team in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management practices, and governance processes across various technology infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices in technology infrastructure, including cloud computing, operating systems, databases, networking technologies, and storage infrastructure.
  • Develop and draft recommendations for improving internal controls and risk management practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic initiatives enhancing continuous assurance and risk monitoring programs.
  • Conduct basic analyses, discover patterns, insights, trends, and anomalies from data sets using visualization tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in technology audit or related fields.
  • Familiarity with technology infrastructure components, such as cloud computing, operating systems, databases, and storage infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to draw conclusions from data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
