About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our Global Manufacturing Organization within the Technical Support team. As a senior process control specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining instrument systems across multiple facilities from the Downstream sector.

Your primary role will include providing technical guidance, support, training, and expertise to plant departments, monitoring instrumentation systems performance, and assessing system optimization opportunities. You will also develop and maintain lifecycle management activities for instrumentation systems and lead auditing efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise to plant departments and contribute to troubleshooting activities as a subject matter expert in Instrumentation.
  • Develop and implement effective lifecycle management strategies for instrumentation systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lead the development of new strategies to improve company productivity and validate their feasibility.
  • Maintain and update instrumentation systems knowledge repository, capturing best practices and benchmarking information.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 12 years' experience in refining/oil and gas plants/petrochemical industries.
  • Proficiency in relevant industry codes and standards (API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, along with familiarity with field instrument types and applications.
  • Detailed knowledge of oil/gas-related plant processes.
Salary and Benefits
