Job Overview

Canning's Personal Care Home is seeking an experienced Data Centre Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and administration of our data centre operations.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems and networks, as well as installing and evaluating software and hardware. Strong knowledge of networking software, file management software, and database software is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems and networks
  • Install and evaluate software and hardware
  • Evaluate and implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in data centre maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of networking software, file management software, and database software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
