Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Development Specialist to join our team at Monarch Montessori School.

This is a permanent position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children;
  • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties;
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts;
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents or guardians;
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers working with children;
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Criminal record check;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multitask;
  • Punctuality and dependability;
  • Flexibility and reliability;
  • Team player and values ethics;
  • Ability to synthesize information and communicate effectively;
