The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:Job Summary:

This role involves developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children aged 0-5 years. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to create engaging activities, establish a safe and inclusive environment, and promote positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that align with our centre's values and curriculum goals.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest that foster learning and exploration.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through art, music, and play.
  • Guide children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toileting habits.
  • Monitor children's progress, identify potential learning or behavioural concerns, and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant licensing regulations and ensure compliance in all aspects of our programme.
  • Establish clear guidelines for behaviour and maintain a safe, secure environment.
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues, community service providers, and families to ensure seamless transitions and a supportive network.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent.
  • First Aid Certificate and Criminal Record Check.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a childcare setting.
