Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have what we need to provide excellent service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate our team members to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and train new team members to ensure we have the right people in the right roles.
  • Ensure Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Analyze sales data and prepare budgets to ensure we are operating efficiently.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately record and track inventory, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Provide regular reports to management on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, supervise and coordinate activities of staff, hire food service staff, ensure quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, prepare and submit reports.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Government Programs: Recognized employer.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Duration of Employment: Permanent.
  • Language of Work: English.
  • Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
