Job Title: Superintendent 2

At Jardeg-Construction, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent 2 to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing projects from the earliest stages of their life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in preconstruction services, including site logistics, project scheduling, and design review.
  • Manage site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, and project scheduling.
  • Determine construction methods, materials quantities, equipment, and work schedules.
  • Coordinate work with various crafts, company departments, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain relationships with engineering, estimating, and planning teams to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Monitor safety programs and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • Take an active role in hiring, training, and monitoring field personnel.
  • Assist with project meetings and claim resolution.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of construction experience, with a focus on mid/large-scale structural concrete work.
  • Experience with concrete water retaining structures and mechanical & electrical installations.
  • Direct experience managing field execution resources and teams of trades.
  • Comprehension of the complete life cycle of a water/wastewater treatment plant project.
  • Ability to manage project field execution of projects up to $25M.
  • Clear understanding of project scheduling and planning principles.
  • Solutions-based attitude and steady job history.
Compensation:
  • $105,000 - $137,500 per annum, commensurate with education and experience.
