At Architecture49, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technologist to join our CENTRUS team.

The Centre Block Rehabilitation Project is a complex, long-term heritage renovation, rehabilitation, and rejuvenation project of national interest within the Parliamentary Precinct.

Working from Canada's national capital, the team is focused on the extensive renovation, repair, upgrade, and replacement of various crucial components of the building.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing technical design and contract documents in collaboration with project teams.

Additionally, you will work with senior team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements, and regulations.

You will also provide technical design solutions for construction, including interior and exterior assemblies, and assist a dedicated site team.

Qualifications include a degree or diploma in architectural or building technology from a technical college, 10+ years of experience in a technologist or technician role, and experience leading BIM projects.

Knowledge of BIM principles, REVIT software, Microsoft 365 environment, and Bluebeam is required.

Professional registration in a provincial association dedicated to technologists may be considered an asset.
