Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Clerk to join our team at the University College of the North. As a key member of our Registrar's Office, you will provide administrative support to the Registrar, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Registrar, including scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements
  • Communicate with stakeholders internally and externally, providing excellent customer service
  • Process applications, review admissions, and register students/clients in various courses and programs
  • Assist with various UCN committees and provide administrative support as needed
Requirements
  • Office Assistant Certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related office experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office 365
  • High level of accuracy with data entry
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a busy office environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to life-long learning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of adult education
  • Knowledge of post-secondary education institutional structures (faculties, programs, courses)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures
