About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Clerk to join our team at Snakland Inc. This is a permanent full-time position that offers 37.5 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date records and reports.
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing timely and accurate information.
- Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Basic security clearance, bondability, and immunization records required.
- Ability to work independently, with attention to detail, and under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as efficient interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, flexibility, and adaptability to meet the demands of the role.
- A competitive salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
