Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the kitchen team and ensure the smooth operation of kitchen operations
- Develop and implement menus and recipes to meet the company's culinary standards
- Manage inventory and ordering to ensure efficient use of resources
- Collaborate with the FOH team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to meet the company's growth and development goals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performing restaurant
- Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
