Marketing Manager Job Description

At Dräger, we are dedicated to protecting, supporting, and saving lives. We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team in Canada. As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to support business objectives in the Workplace Infrastructure (WPI) & Systems portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Product Support: Provide local product champion support, handle product questions, and provide field support to sales through customer visits, conference calls, and webinars.
  • Product Launches: Set local prices in SAP, confirm content of data sheets and brochures, conduct price and positioning workshops, and arrange sales product training.
  • Communication to Sales: Generate communication to Sales to promote Draeger brand, raise awareness of new products, and notify of key events.
  • Marketing Communications: Lead marketing budgeting, planning, and execution for the Customer Area, develop and execute local marketing communications plans, and create customer educational programs.
  • Establish and Maintain Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Contacts: Develop, maintain, and expand collaborations with clinicians, researchers, and thought leaders to support clinical development and promote Draeger's position as a first-choice partner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Marketing, or related field, and/or relevant clinical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device Marketing/Product Management roles, implementing or using, or educating relevant Medical Device solutions in the healthcare environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated experience in developing excellent working relationships with internal and external business associates.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, managers, other company personnel, and business associates.
Work Environment/Conditions:
  • This is a Safety Sensitive position, where performance limitations could result in an incident or situation with high consequences.
  • Office environment, long hours working in front of a computer terminal.
  • Travel within Canada, US, or Europe.
