Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Organization Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the warehouse layout, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of merchandise, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

This is a part-time position with a variable schedule, requiring 24-40 hours per week. You will have the flexibility to choose your shifts within a set time frame, Monday to Sunday, between 8 am and 9 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management:
    • Responsible for garbage disposal, cardboard recycling, and disposing of broken products in accordance with store policy.
    • Repairs broken packages as needed.
    • Reports stolen and damaged goods to Management.
    • Operates computer and scanning tools, entering relevant coding in Canadian Tire systems.
    • Adheres to all health and safety programs and regulations, reporting any observed or potential hazards immediately.
    • Maintains a professional appearance, using proper language when interacting with others.
  • Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
    • Standing/walking for extended periods.
    • Lifting and/or carrying merchandise items, frequently and unassisted.
    • Lifting and twisting above shoulder height.
    • Ability to go up and down ladders and stairs while carrying merchandise.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Experience in a warehouse/distribution environment, preferably in a Canadian Tire store, is an asset.
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
