Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our staff is working together as a cohesive unit to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our dining areas, including storage spaces and equipment.
  • Complete scheduled inventories and stock supplies as needed.
  • Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and the well-being of our guests.
  • Assist management in hiring, training, and evaluating employees, as well as providing coaching and counseling as needed.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, and report any accidents or injuries to management.
  • Ensure that our staff is dressed in clean and professional attire, and that they are maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, and assist individuals with disabilities as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other team members, and support the team in reaching common goals.
  • Identify and recommend new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time, and to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
