Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Property Acquisition Specialist to join our Rail and Transit team at WSP USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a project's property portfolio, identifying acquisition requirements, and minimizing financial, environmental, and reputational risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and implement Property Management Plans to address roles and responsibilities, processes, and procedures.
  • Manage a project's property portfolio, including identifying acquisition requirements and reducing risk.
  • Work with the project team to identify properties that require property management and/or demolitions.
  • Lead property portfolio optimization and minimization efforts to reduce property impacts.
  • Lead property valuations exercises and prepare documents for project estimation.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to understand the effects on surrounding properties and offer solutions to minimize disruption.
  • Identify and engage with project stakeholders to understand their needs and pursue their buy-in.
Requirements
  • University degree or college diploma in Law, Real Estate, Appraisal, Business Administration, Geography, or Urban Planning.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Property acquisition or large-scale public infrastructure projects.
