Job Summary

This role involves various tasks including reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings, pulling cables and installing cable tray, wiring lighting fixtures, plugs, switches, and control panels, installing electrical systems and equipment, testing circuits for integrity and safety, and completing documentation and inspection reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to understand electrical, mechanical, and architectural specifications.
  • Pull cables and install cable tray according to established procedures.
  • Wire lighting fixtures, plugs, switches, and control panels to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Install electrical systems and equipment, adhering to manufacturer instructions and industry standards.
  • Test circuits to verify their integrity and safety, using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Prepare and submit accurate documentation and inspection reports as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you must have:

  • Certified Journeyperson or registered apprentice experience in industrial settings.
  • Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or live plant environments.
  • Physical fitness to lift 50 pounds and climb stairs safely.
  • A valid Driver's License and a clear driver's abstract.
Work Environment

You will primarily work outdoors in various weather conditions, with up to 80% travel required. Accommodations and transportation will be provided.

Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
