About Our Opportunity
The Government of Nova Scotia is seeking a skilled and dedicated Centreline Operator-Painter to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where no two days are alike.
Key Responsibilities
As a Centreline Operator-Painter, you will be responsible for painting highway road lines in the Province of Nova Scotia. This will involve setting up, maintaining, and cleaning equipment, operating paint pumps, and inspecting work completed for quality and conformance.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need Grade 12 completion and one year of construction experience and training. Prior highway work experience and training in the use and maintenance of equipment and Traffic Control experience is also required.

Working Conditions
This role involves extensive travel throughout the province and being away from home for stretches of five days in a row. You will be required to work on a busy highway with the travelling public nearby.
Additional Information
This position involves day and night work, Monday to Friday, throughout the province. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and conditions, including different climates and geographic areas.
