Mace is seeking an experienced Aviation Infrastructure Program Director to lead our multi-billion-dollar aviation infrastructure program in Toronto, Canada. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading global construction company and be part of a transformative project that will revolutionize the airport into one of the most advanced, sustainable, and passenger-friendly facilities in the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of the aviation infrastructure program, ensuring it meets the client's vision and objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and wellbeing standards, as well as environmental and sustainability considerations.
  • Provide technical advice and leadership support to the delivery team, fostering a culture of ownership and clear role responsibilities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and multiple internal and external stakeholders, implementing strategies and programs collaboratively.
  • Drive continuous improvements in processes through the application of best practices and lessons learned, promoting transformational change.
  • Improve performance from baseline through resource optimization, monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating activities, systems, and methodologies.
Requirements
  • Membership of MCIOB / MAPM / MRICS / MICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programs in the aviation infrastructure sector.
  • Deep construction management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
