R2 Global is a leading player in the frozen foods industry, with a strong presence in North America, Australia, Taiwan, and Japan. Our company provides a diverse range of products and supports multiple private-label programs in addition to our own brands.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Specialist to join our team as the ERP Manager. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of our existing ERP platforms, including planning, implementation, and tracking of various ERP projects. The successful candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and a deep understanding of business processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, goals, cost estimates, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively manage the project timeline, budget, cost estimates, and resource allocation to ensure successful completion of the project.
- ERP System Implementation and Integration: Lead the implementation of ERP solutions by coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. This includes configuring the ERP system to fit our needs, ensuring the integration of the ERP with other business applications, and managing any customization of the system.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure that the ERP is optimized to meet their respective departmental needs.
- Risk Management: Review existing ERP controls, segregations of duties, and governance vs. best practices and make recommendations to senior leadership on areas for improvement aimed at risk mitigation and working in collaboration with the IT Department. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Identify and manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans. Collaborate with the IT Department team on setting up our Ai tools that interface with the ERP system and in establishing an appropriate governance model aimed at ensuring appropriate controls related to access to information are put in place.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Guarantee that the ERP system meets the project specifications and adheres to quality standards.
- Training and Support: Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients. Provide training, support, and guidance to ERP system users.
- Post-Implementation Evaluation: Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements aimed at establishing best practices for future projects.
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who has:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation management, including the deployment of ERP solutions on time and within budget.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a highly desired asset.
- Experience with specific ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) may be required depending on our system.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, plus benefits.
Bonus: Performance-based bonus structure.
