About the Role:

New Balance is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and utilizing your product knowledge to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide world-class customer service and utilize product knowledge to meet customer needs
  • Utilize the GUEST service model to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Correctly measure and fit customers with appropriate New Balance products
  • Inform customers about promotions and ensure the sales floor is always looking its best
  • Protect our products by monitoring floor merchandise and reporting shrinkage and security violations
  • Follow safety regulations and report any accidents or near misses

Requirements for Success:

  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment
  • Familiarity with cash register functions and ability to quickly perform basic math
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 4 lbs. frequently, lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally, and stand for extended periods of time
