Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse - Emergency Care Specialist to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a critical care registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the health condition of patients and determine the best course of action
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q
  • College degree in Nursing
  • ORBachelor of Science in Nursing or an undergraduate degree consisting of three (3) admissible certificates, of which two (2) are accredited certificates in Nursing
  • One (1) year of experience in critical care or at the emergency department
  • Fluent in English; Fluency in Cree or French is an asset
