A skilled nursing professional responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an emergency setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient health conditions and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide emergency nursing care and treatment, including stabilization and transportation of patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in research activities aimed at improving patient outcomes and promoting health
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients and their families

Requirements:

  • Member in good standing of the O.I.I.Q
  • College degree in Nursing
  • ORBachelor of Science in Nursing or an undergraduate degree consisting of three (3) admissible certificates, of which two (2) are accredited certificates in Nursing
  • One (1) year of experience in critical care or at the emergency department
  • Fluent in English;Fluency in Cree or French is an asset
  • Must succeed CTAS training;Must have CPR up-to-date;This position includes on-call periods;This position includes triage functions;A skill-based test may be required
