Power Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Plant Chief Engineer to join our team at Pernod Ricard. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power plant, as well as maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Chief Operating Engineer in coordinating power plant operations and maintenance activities to meet production and plant operations requirements.
- Facilitate power plant operations and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and minimize the carbon footprint within the organization.
- Ensure effective cost management for site power plant and budget development and ownership.
- Assign and verify completion of routine maintenance/PM and operation of all mechanical, electrical, H.V.A.C systems and any other related equipment.
- Assist with the administration of inventory control programs and systems.
- Create, foster, and maintain a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act (section 25, 26, 27, and 28) and Hiram Walker & Son's Ltd Policy- Management-Supervision-Worker Safety Responsibilities.
- First-class Power Engineer certificate from the TSSA (or 2nd class with some 1st class examination completed).
- 5+ years of related work experience.
- Appropriate license/permit for trade as may be required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of computer systems, including JD Edwards, Kronos, and Rockwell DCS Controls.
