Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with DSRs to meet customer needs, manage customer records, and provide timely updates.
  • Participate in sales meetings, promotions, and food shows, facilitating registration and providing support as needed.
  • Take orders from customers via phone or email, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Stay up-to-date with product offerings, market trends, and customer needs, leveraging this knowledge to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support DSRs during vacation coverage and seasonal fluctuations, ensuring seamless customer service.
  • Assist with routing changes, time delays, and delivery adjustments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Document customer complaints, track recurring issues, and report problems to the team.
  • Work closely with sales representatives, visiting customers, and providing support as needed.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform 10-key data entry.
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strategic thinking, inquisitiveness, innovation, and creativity to build relationships, network, and apply business practices.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team environment.
  • Ability to learn and use SAP, CRM, Gordon Ordering online, and other systems.
Education and Experience
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, sales, or Marketing preferred.
  • One year of previous sales, business, or food service experience with an interest in food business practices and food preparation or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred.
