Roles and Responsibilities:

As a skilled Cardiologist, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to patients with cardiovascular diseases. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct diagnostic tests, and perform surgical procedures as needed. Additionally, you will participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
* Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and technologies to provide evidence-based care
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in cardiology, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and hold FRCPC Cardiology or be eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Internal Medicine and Cardiology exams.
