Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Manager to join our team at Subzi Mandi Cash & Carry. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, and supplies, and ensure that we are operating within our means.
- Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, modify food preparation methods and menu prices as needed, and monitor revenues to determine labor costs.
- Staff Management: Supervise and train staff, recruit new team members, and set work schedules to ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer complaints, and ensure that our customers are satisfied with their experience.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our food service operations meet all health and safety regulations, and that our staff are trained to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
Our food service department operates in a fast-paced environment, and our staff must be able to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. We offer a welcoming work environment for mature workers and visible minorities, and provide on-the-job training tailored to youth.
Language:The primary language of work is English, and our staff must be able to communicate effectively in this language.
