Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Subzi Mandi Cash & Carry. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, and supplies, ensuring that we stay within our financial targets.
- Operations Evaluation: Regularly evaluate our daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Menu Planning and Pricing: Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to ensure they align with our restaurant budget and customer preferences.
- Staff Management: Monitor staff performance, plan and organize daily operations, recruit and train staff, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that our food service operations comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, including obtaining necessary certifications such as the Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service management role or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
Our food service operations are based in an urban area, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a team of 5-10 people.
Language:The primary language of communication is English, and you will be required to work 40 hours per week.
Support for Diverse Groups:We offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers. We also offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
