Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Sault Area Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the provision of patient care in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
- Use the Standards of Nursing Practice and the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Provide health teaching to patients and families.
- Assist in planning corrective actions to ensure patient and staff safety.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of competency in Ontario.
- Current ACLS and PALS competencies.
Experience:
Previous experience in an emergency department setting is required. Demonstrated clinical competency in the management of care of patients in emergency is essential.
Skills:
- Demonstrated competencies related to IV therapy.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office software.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in the management of care of patients in emergency.
Ability:
- Knowledgeable in the utilization and care of all mechanical equipment required for patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain successful working relationships and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
