Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Sault Area Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, promoting a culture of safety and quality care.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
