**Job Summary**
The Government of Northwest Territories seeks a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Relief Secretary. This position provides confidential secretarial, administrative, and financial support services to staff, as well as administrative assistance and client support to students, their families, and the public.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide secretarial, administrative, and financial support services to staff, including records management and leave management.
- Assist with maintaining the student record system and leave management system for staff.
- Manage financial administration within the school, including tracking budgets.
**Requirements**
- Knowledge of secretarial, administrative, and office procedures, including records management systems.
- Excellent computer and word processing, spreadsheet, database, leave, and attendance management systems.
- Respectful understanding of local people and cultures of the community.
- Ability to be organized, manage time, and manage deadline stress.
**Typical Qualifications**
The incumbent would normally attain the required knowledge and skills through completion of Grade 10 combined with completion of a Secretarial Arts or Office Procedures Program and/or related secretarial experience.
