Appliance Territory Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Appliance Territory Manager to join our team at AMS Retail Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for servicing vendor products and providing sales and support services in assigned stores.
Responsibilities:
- Visit customers to service vendor products and perform sales and support services in assigned stores
- Travel to customer locations and service vendor products and maintain product displays
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries
- Provide new product information and receive customer feedback regarding vendor products and services
- Support and provide product knowledge to customers by demonstrating equipment and providing product application training
- Answer customer sales and technical questions
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner
- Facilitate sales, marketing, and promotional campaigns by acquainting accounts with the latest sales techniques
- Resolve any customer and vendor differences
- Assist with placing special orders
- Place items on shelving units according to the plan-o-gram
- Manage and maintain inventory levels, making adjustments as required
- Attend and represent customers at trade/industry shows and training sessions as required
- Report weekly summary of hours, location, and sales impact at retail
- Travel with designated Customer Manager and/or AMS Regional Manager when necessary
- Comply with all Customer and AMS policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Travel required, including overnight stays
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
- Knowledge of Brand Name appliances
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, including lifting weight above shoulders as needed
- Frequent standing, bending, and twisting
- Excellent communication, presentation, written, and technical skills
- Proof of valid driver's license and insurance
- Provide excellent customer service to customers and vendors
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- 2 years of vendor sales experience preferred
- 1 year of field sales/customer service experience preferred
