About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our dynamic team at Acosta. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate product placement, updating prices, and implementing planogram changes to optimize product placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Placement: Ensure accurate placement of products on shelves, taking into account inventory levels and market conditions.
  • Price Updates: Regularly update prices to meet customer needs and ensure accurate pricing information.
  • Planogram Implementation: Set up and install promotional materials, and implement planogram changes to optimize product placement.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and prevent stock-outs by identifying opportunities to enhance sales areas.
  • Customer Engagement: Assist in introducing new products and educating consumers about our clients' latest innovations.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain positive relationships with store employees and managers.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Create detailed reports and document in-store actions.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available from Monday to Friday, with morning and daytime hours.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Merchandising Experience: Merchandising experience is desirable, but not required.
  • Physical Capability: Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literacy with access to a mobile device and the internet.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, understanding, and executing planograms accurately.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
