Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Nova Scotia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients in their homes, providing assessment, treatment, and education to help them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments of clients in their home environment to identify their needs and develop treatment plans
* Provide treatment and education to clients and their caregivers to help them achieve their goals
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to Bayshore Therapy & Rehab policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or recognized equivalent
* Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia
* Experience working with geriatric populations and in-home community assessments
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
