We are seeking a skilled Trauma Counselor to join our team at Willow Place Inc. in Winnipeg, MB. As a Trauma Counselor, you will be responsible for providing assessment, planning, and implementation of programs designed to support individuals experiencing family abuse/violence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and develop individualized therapeutic plans for clients
  • Provide therapeutic services, including individual and group counseling
  • Collaborate with community agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program components
Requirements:
  • Minimum undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., mental health nursing, counseling, psychology, or social work)
  • Certification in mental health and/or addiction is an asset
  • Minimum one year of supervised clinical counseling experience
  • Demonstrated experience working from a trauma-informed and harm reduction lens
