Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at KUTHALA GROUP INC. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods and materials at designated locations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Inspect Vehicle: Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely updates on delivery status and any issues that may arise.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be required to work extended periods, including overnight shifts, and be willing to travel for extended periods. You will also be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
