Job Summary

SBS Expedited Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Documentation: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and a minimum of [insert experience level] years of experience in long-haul trucking.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.
