About the Job

Pahra Transportation Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation of Goods: Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate transportation schedules and routes.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods from the truck, and secure cargo during transport.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information and driving details, including hours of service and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Experience: Have long-haul transportation experience, preferably with a reputable company.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle up to 30 lbs of weight and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
