About the Role

Pahra Transportation Ltd is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving and Logistics
    • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
    • Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Maintenance and Inspection
    • Perform brake adjustments and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
    • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping
    • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication.
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Hold a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Transportation Experience
    • Long-haul experience preferred.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
