Clinical Team Lead

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead to join our team at the Nova Scotia Operational Stress Injury Clinic. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and leadership to team members in delivering safe, effective, efficient, evidence-based, high-quality, client-centred care.
The successful candidate will have a recognized doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, be registered or eligible for registration under the Psychologists Act of Nova Scotia, and have a CPA/APA accredited internship/residency in clinical psychology. Experience working in an interdisciplinary service delivery model is mandatory, and experience in a military or police service environment is an asset.
The Clinical Team Lead will be responsible for providing education to various stakeholders, maintaining contact with referring VAC area counsellors, RCMP, and DND, and utilizing OSI-supported telemental health and other distance technologies in the provision of services in outlying communities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for working with the Canadian network of OSI clinics and following the leadership of the Operational Stress Injuries National Network.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, be able to establish and maintain good working relations, and have effective mentoring and clinical supervision skills to support both the academic role and the clinical practice of other team members. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are also required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $51.37-$66.32 hourly, and successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan. (Permanent and Long Assignments only)
