We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a variety of long-term and acute care facilities, earning above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation.

As an RPN with RhynoCare, you will have the chance to work on flexible shift times, including early morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts, with consistent hours and a set schedule.

Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician orders, and resident plans of care, within the scope of practice of an RPN.
  • To utilize evidence-based nursing practices to deliver exceptional nursing and personal care in assigned home areas.
  • To ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges, as well as comprehensive orientations to the home and its services.
  • To maintain accurate records of medication administration, adhering to protocols and guidelines.
  • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, emotional, social, and cultural needs of residents.

Requirements

  • A valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • The ability to work effectively with individuals who may be vulnerable or have infectious diseases.
  • BLS certification and current immunizations, including MMRV and Hepatitis B.
  • A clean Vulnerable Sector Police Check and a reliable attendance record.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shift lengths and float between units as needed.
  • Compliance with RhynoCare's shift acceptance and cancellation policy.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
