Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist will work under the direction of the Manager of Rehabilitation, responsible for completing professional activities including assessment, treatment, report writing, communication with healthcare professionals, and overall management of caseload.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Complete a variety of assessments such as OT In Home Assessments, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, Cognitive Assessments, Mental Health Assessments, Home Safety and Accessibility Assessments, and Mobility Assessments.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment programs.
  • Delegate, train, and supervise Rehab Assistants when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and complete comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborate with other members of the health team and referral sources.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Maintains professional liability insurance.
  • Participates in ongoing internal and/or external education activities.
  • Adheres to Bayshore HealthCare policies and procedures.
  • Participates in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

As an Independent Contractor, you can expect flexible work hours, competitive pay rates based on years of experience ($85,000 - $115,000 per year), and virtual education meetings with guest speakers. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in occupational therapy.
  • Prefers at least two years providing occupational therapy, preferably in the automobile insurance sector.

Salary Range:$85,000 - $115,000 per year
