About the Role

At SOUTH HILL MEDICAL CLINIC INC., we are seeking an experienced and skilled Medical Practitioner to join our team. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, including diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals
• Examine patients' health condition to identify diseases and injuries
• Assist in routine surgery and perform required procedures
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment
• Collaborate with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
• Provide emergency care and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations

Work Setting

As a General Practitioner, you will work in a general office setting, with the possibility of working in private practice or a clinic. You will be required to work 35 hours per week and must be able to communicate effectively with patients and other medical professionals in English.

Requirements

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
