Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - General Medical Unit
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. As a key member of our General Medical Nursing Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
About the Role:
This is a full-time temporary position with a three-step salary range of $36,160 to $38,720 per year. You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care. Your duties will include:
- Assessing and treating patients with various medical conditions;
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans;
- Providing education and support to patients and their families;
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care;
- Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records;
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A Practical Nursing diploma and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN);
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using electronic health records;
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel (if required);
- Registration/eligibility with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of SK (CLPNS).
