We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at SOUTH HILL MEDICAL CLINIC INC.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze medical information from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to patients on healthy habits, wellness, and disease prevention.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and X-rays, to determine the most appropriate course of treatment.
- Collaborate with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Perform routine surgeries and assist in more complex procedures as needed.
- Administer vaccinations and provide pre-natal and post-natal care to patients.
- Offer counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Provide emergency care and respond to urgent medical situations.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
- Work setting: General office, private practice, or clinic.
- Health care plan.
- Permanent work term.
- 35 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
