Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Deicer to join our team at YYT (PM Shift). As a Deicer, you will be responsible for removing ice from aircraft and ensuring a safe environment during de/anti-icing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect aircraft for ice and frozen contamination
  • Spray de-icing fluid to remove ice
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
  • Participate in pre-planning for de/anti-icing events
  • Ensure proper shutdown of pads and equipment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of IDS classroom and OJT de-/anti-icing training
Work Environment

Prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes, and noise.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, stretch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at heights
  • Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak efficiently
