Retail Store Supervisor Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Retail Store Supervisor Lead to join our team at MacEwen Gas Station and Convenience. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of staff members, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members. They will be expected to assign duties, train or arrange for training, and motivate their team to achieve high levels of performance.

Merchandise Management

The Retail Store Supervisor Lead will also be responsible for ordering merchandise, authorizing returns, and establishing work schedules. They will need to maintain accurate records and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.

Customer Service and Problem-Solving

This role requires excellent customer service skills, as the successful candidate will need to resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages. They will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Physical Demands

The Retail Store Supervisor Lead will need to be able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Requirements

A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this role.

Experience

The successful candidate will have at least 7 months of experience in a retail supervisory role, with a proven track record of success.
