About the Job:
Job SummaryThis is a full-time, permanent position that requires a licensed practical nurse, registered nurse, or registered psychiatric nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to teach adult learners and have two or more years of full-time Canadian nursing experience.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver instruction that meets course competencies and program objectives
- Evaluate student performance in a timely manner
- Enhance the program by leveraging industry contacts for the benefit of students' practical training and employment
To be successful in this role, you must have advanced oral and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation. You should also be able to motivate and inspire students, as well as work cooperatively with other instructors and staff.
A competitive salary of $35.00 per hour and 30 hours per week is offered for this position. The expected schedule is Monday to Friday, with work location being in-person.
