Job Title: Internal Auditor

At DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd., we're seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our Audit team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Job Summary

The Internal Auditor will support the Audit team in conducting audits across the organization, identifying areas of risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a full-time position based in our Corporate Office, with a competitive salary range starting at $50,392.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fieldwork and testing to ensure the adequacy of internal controls and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the preparation of draft reports and present findings to the Manager, Internal Audit.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging risks and assess potential impacts on the business.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with the team and internal and external business partners.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of internal or external audit experience.
