Job Title: Internal Auditor

At DUCA Financial Services Credit Union Ltd., we're seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our Audit team. As an Internal Auditor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits across the organization, identifying areas of risk, and providing recommendations to mitigate those risks. You'll work closely with our Audit team to ensure that our internal controls are operating effectively and that we're meeting regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct fieldwork and testing to identify areas of risk and ensure that internal controls are operating effectively
  • Develop and implement audit programs to test internal controls and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare draft reports for review by the Manager, Internal Audit, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Maintain awareness of emerging risks and regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts on the business
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of internal or external audit experience
  • Knowledge of internal audit practices and risk management principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
